This page is dedicated to the randomness of my art, vibrant still life color photography. I see displays all the time that someone put a lot of thought into making beautiful, ornate architecture, vibrant color schemes, repeating patterns, and symmetry in the wild, and I just can’t stop appreciating them. It’s a deliberate action taken to enjoy these little moments – I’ve seen the term glimmer, these are the glimmers that I came across in my day-to-day life. I really do find joy in simple things like a nice window display or a floral arrangement. I hope some of these images will bring a glimmer to you as well. All of these images are available as a fine art color photograph that is numbered and signed. All prints will come with a white mat. Each image is a set of 188.
Santa Cruz Greens
I took this photo while we were on our annual family trip to Santa Cruz. This is someone’s front yard. I’m a sucker for nasturtium and ferns, and blue is my favorite color, so this photo was born.
Victorian SF
I have spent most of my life living in the San Francisco Bay Area. I have a fondness for the aesthetic of the city. Victorian-style buildings are my jam. We were driving home from an afternoon at the Academy of Sciences in Golden Gate Park. This building is on a street corner on the drive home. I tried to backtrack on Google Maps to see if I could find the exact street corner. I couldn’t, and so this was named Victorian SF and not the street name.
MOMA Glass
Introducing MOMA Glass, featuring a stunning photograph of the One-Way Colour Tunnel installation by Olafur Eliasson. This long, arched walkway sculpture is captured in exquisite detail, reflecting the crystalline patterns of the tunnel. Bring the beauty of this iconic artwork into your home with this original MOMA Glass print.
Neon Meow
Transport yourself into a vibrant and captivating world with Neon Meow. This abstract color photograph, taken at Wink World by Chris Wink, will bring a visually and sonically dynamic experience to any space. An art exhibit created by the Chief Creative Officer of Blue Man Group, photographed by me, this exhibit is a must-have for those seeking a unique and stunning piece of art. This is inside the Meow Wolf facility.
Looff Portrait
This carousel at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is something that I can remember riding as a child while my parents were still married. I stole a ring from the ring toss in middle school and was WAY too cool to spend the money to ride it in high school. My daughter has now had the joy of riding this same carousel. This holds a special place in my heart.
Stingray
I have an affinity for classic cars. I even purchased a 64-1/2 Mustang to rebuild with my dad. (Turns out I didn’t have the follow-through of the funds to finish that ginormous undertaking.) I took this in November of 2021 with an iPhone 11. I don’t remember taking this, which makes me think it was just one of those moments when I was walking by something and thought, That would make a nice picture. This one here is probably my favorite of all of my classic car images.
Miami Beach Mosaic
This was taken in Miami Beach. My husband was honored at work, and we got an all-expenses-paid trip to Miami Beach, Florida. We were put up at the Fountain Blue. This sprightly hotel was right next door. My husband and I took a walk down the street side of the hotels, and I saw this building and liked the hombre tiles and the Moorish-style window covering. This printed so much better than I ever hoped.
Quality Meat
I know this was taken in one of the “halls” of Pike Place Market, in Seattle, Washington. That market is a sight to behold, and for someone like me, I LOVE to photograph all of that stuff – fresh food, repeating patterns, bright color, farm to table, different textures occupying the same space, vivid flowers – oh man, I could go on forever about the awesome visual delight that is Pike Place Market.
Liquid Convenience
I took this while in Vegas in February of 2023. I’m not sure where in Vegas, but my calendar says I was there on that day, and I 100% remember walking on the strip with my friend Kate and a drunk Elvis on a rascal called us “some horny bitches”, it was a solid trip overall. I went into my first Eataly establishment on that trip, too. Holy fuck. If you like to cook, like Italian food, are Italian, just like to eat, or look at products you can’t find on your average American grocery store shelf. It was low-key, a spiritual event.
Iridescent Lanterns
Add a touch of old-world charm to your space with our Iridescent Lanterns. This original color photograph captures the timeless beauty of vintage oil lanterns with iridescent glass chimneys. Perfect for adding a unique and enchanting ambiance to any room.
Alcatraz Windows
I took this image while on a trip to Alcatraz Island. This is the outside of an admiration building. The whole island is a testament to nature taking things back. I found there to be a starting amount of unique plants and animals living on this little piece of land.
Method Confetti
We were fortunate enough to get tickets to the Color Factory when it was in SF in September of 2017. We took my daughter, who had been born earlier that year. This was taken in a room that was sponsored by the Method cleaning products. It perpetually rained confetti in that room. If this ever comes back to the Bay Area, I am certainly taking my family again.
Lavender Classic
Took this at a classic car show I stumbled upon in Virginia City, NV, while on a road trip with my mom and uncle. That was one hell of a road trip – learned you really can just go to the bar at a brothel and have drinks, and I saw the USS Huntley. 🤯 I’m hoping those photos come out well when printed.
Our Lot
This has been our Christmas tree lot since we moved to Livermore in 2015. Every year I take the same set of photos, I just LOVE the way it looks. It gives me all the feels.
Icy Pastels
I took this photograph on an early winter morning. The variety of pastel hues present and the way the morning dew ice crystals outline the individual leaves. I’m always noticing small things like this. Being able to capture them with my pocket computer is still mindblowing to me.
Pepper’s Coop
I took this at my husband’s friend’s wedding. They got married at a vineyard in Livermore. It was like we had been invited to a magazine wedding, style-wise. Everything was perfect, so much so that I turned a portion of their appetizer spread into a photo.
Pamela Plum
I have a love-hate relationship with this tree. It is an old plum tree that grows on the HOA’s side of the fence. It is old and gnarled and has a ton of character. We hung a baby swing for my daughter when she was little. In the spring, it is covered in these white plum blossoms, and they are beautiful, but they only last like a week, and then, like on command, they all drop, and I have brown petals everywhere for weeks. It also still produces plums, and the super ripe ones fall into the backyard and get stepped on. So I mean, total first work problems, I still stand by my description of my relationship with this particular tree.
Fair Lily
I love the county fair. I love Americana in general; it gives me the feels. One of my favorite things to photograph at the fair is the garden exhibit. Local nurseries compete to put together the best backyard, and they are always stunning. This lily was in one of those displays.
Pike’s Crabs
Introducing Pike’s Crabs – a stunning limited-edition photograph capturing the vibrant atmosphere of Pike Place Market in Seattle, Washington. This freshly caught crab color artwork brings a taste of the sea to your home. Perfect for seafood lovers and admirers of local markets. Order now and bring the vibrancy and beauty of Pike Place Market to your living room.
Necking
We were lucky enough to be able to snag tickets to The Color Factory in SF. My daughter wasn’t even 1 when we visited. It was unreal to be immersed in these rooms full of a single color. The all-yellow ball pit was the perfect end to the exhibit. This was SO much fun and a great experience for all ages. I would do this again in a heartbeat. This is a pop-up “museum”; you can find them in different cities across the US.
*This image is more square than rectangular. The sizes available on this will most likely change.
Carmel Artichoke
I took this image while on a hike with my husband around the Carmel Valley Ranch property. My husband used to win posh trips to all sorts of places that we could never afford to send ourselves to. This is a beautiful place, and the chef’s garden was magical. I love to photograph food, and this was a pleasant surprise to stumble upon.
Gone to Seed: Thistle
I love to photograph plants that have gone to seed. This is the first in the series that I can sell; my favorite Gone to Seed image is too low resolution to be printed. 😢 I am looking forward to posting more to this series.
Bar Quixote
This little potted display sat in the corner of the outdoor patio at the Bar Quixote, which specialized in mezcal drinks and Sonoran hot dogs. It was a random little place on the corner of First Street and Maple in downtown Livermore, CA. Sadly, it didn’t survive. I had wanted to try it for a long time, but I assumed the bar meant no kids; I turned out to be wrong about that.
Vintage Glass
Introducing our Vintage Glass featuring iridescent glass, an original, signed, and numbered photograph. Taken at Goldfield ghost town in Apache Junction, AZ, this unique piece captures the essence of the Old West. Perfect for adding a touch of history and charm to any room.
