Welcome to the second official new images blog for Allison Squared Fine Art Photography.
I’ll be honest, this endeavor is quite time consuming. I didn’t start out thinking that I would write a blog post for every new set of photographs that I post, but it isn’t a bad idea. I can share a little bit about the images, why they are among my favorites.
The editing and making sure that I have all the final edits in the right folders so that the proper image is uploaded to the right sites, the right information is attributed to the images in all of these places and most importantly I need to keep track of the images in the software I use to send them to print. If it sounds confusing it is turning out to be so.
There is a light at the end of the table, once I get all of my verbiage worked out across all of the platforms where my work is being displayed it should be a little more streamlined, now that I have worked out a workflow.
As part of that workflow, I will strive to introduce new images once every two weeks. I don’t want to burn myself out.

If you live in the SF Bay Area, you are probably familiar with Vasco Road, and you may even know that there is a park off that road, but I’m willing to bet none of you have actually gone. I hadn’t and turns out Los Vaqueros Watershed is beautiful! The wildflowers were in bloom, it is a great place to hike.
Here’s another example of fractals in nature!!! Coral might be some of the best living organisms for this. I LOVE different patterns and textures; this is the ocean retaining wall and the Grand Baha’i Principe Resort in Akumal Mexico. They used the locally available recourses and created this beautiful wall in the process.
This was taken on an early morning safari ride inside the Kruger National Park in South Africa. We took a small plane 2 hours into the bush – there was very little electricity and no internet. I’ve never been so far off the grid before, and it was breath taking.
More fractals!!!!!!! Like I said, I love this shit.
