My Valley – This is a photograph looking out over a section of the Livermore Valley from the popular Olivia Gate, at Wetmore and Arroyo. I really like the different textures of green present and the way that the field lines run perpendicular to each other are what I wanted to capture.

Icy Pastels – I took this photograph on and early winter morning. The variety of pastel hues present and the way the morning dew ice crystals outlines the individual leaves, was something to stop and appreciate. I’m always noticing small things like this. Being able to capture them with my pocket computer is still insane to me.

Not a Monarch – This image gets its name because we went to see the monarchs over wintering in Santa Cruz at Natural Bridges State beach – they have a really nice observation deck for viewing the butterflies. This trip turned out to be somewhat anti-climactic, I got to see the Monarchs all clustered together like 20′ – 50′ up in the trees. I got some amazing photos, but not a single up-close monarch. However, I captured this Cynthia cardui drinking nectar from one of the flowers in the butterfly garden at the ranger’s station.

All of these are available as fine art photographs, printed on high quality photo paper, individually signed and numbered. Each photograph comes with a white mat. Sizes vary by print. ✌
