I thought I would try out some synonyms for “Newly Added” since the bulk of these will highlight new additions to my site and store. Freshly loaded was too good in an incredibly awkward way so there it is in all its glory, Freshly Loaded. 😂
| I took this while in Vegas in February of 2023. I’m not sure where in Vegas, but my calendar says I was there on that day, and I 100% remember walking on the strip with my friend Kate and a drunk Elvis on a rascal called us “some horny bitches”, it was a solid trip overall. I went into my first Eataly establishment on that trip too. Holy fuck. If you like to cook, like Italian food, are Italian, just like to eat or look at products you can’t find on your average American grocery store shelf. It was low key a spiritual event. I’m not sure why anyone would hang this particular piece in their home. I really like it though. I like the bright colors and the way the case florescent lights tinted everything just slightly more inviting. |
| I took this on a family hike at the Reinhardt Redwood Reserve in Oakland CA. I was on a mission to find the migrating ladybugs that East Bay Parks told me were there. In my mind this should be a small branch on a plant growing in a tropical setting. It was 40° outside and drizzling in the Oakland hills. I live for different textures like this, all occupying the same space. Lichens are composite organisms that are made up of a fungus and algae or cyanobacteria living in a mutualistic relationship. |
| I took this somewhere in Livermore. It’s either from Joan’s Farm or Hickman’s Park. We have a lot of solid vintage, western gear / equipment / supplies all over the city. I’m constantly taking pictures of old rusty farm equipment; it was a delight to find old iridescent glass like this. |
