Tell us about your favorite pair of shoes, and where they’ve taken you.

This is one of those blog posts where WordPress posed a question I felt I had to respond to.
Black and white Converse Chuck Taylors, low top.
I have never had a pair of black and white chucks for longer than a year. They are my go to shoe and I wear a pair every day. I have also amassed, what I see as, quite the collection. I made a special pair that I wore at my wedding. I talked my sister into giving me a pair made of cherry blossom satin ones that she was gifted 10 years earlier… I have Halloween and St. Patrick’s Day themes as well as many other patterns, that “spoke to me” (read saw a pattern I was not aware of in the wild and I had the money.)
I wear my Chucks every day. I wear them to the beach and to Disneyland, to work and like I mentioned even at my wedding. I have a pair of hiking shoes I will occasionally change them out for and a pair of Birkenstocks, but the Chucks are totally the way to go and my signature shoe.
