The Learning Curve

So…. Like I mentioned before, y’ins get to build this with me. I realized last week that I had gone about my store layout out all wrong and there was a MUCH more streamlined way to go about it. I could have read everything the first time … or I could have got 50 something items deep and have something catch my eye, either way, we are there now. 🙌

For some time now I have known I had to raise my prices. Shipping costs across the process are high. I took this rebuild of my shop as then opportunity to adjust my prices to something more feasible.

If you had something you really wanted and hadn’t pulled the trigger, message me through the end of March 2024, and I will make that happen.

Pontiac Chief

I’ll be honest, I went back and forth on this one for a while. I LOVE this image, and I LOVE classic cars. I don’t love cultural appropriation in general and how this country treated the Native American’s specifically was abhorrent. Full stop. We went to the Museum of Modern Art in SF yesterday, and that got me to thinking what is the definition of modern art? In part it is non-traditional subject matter, or subject matter than makes you think and question the status quo, amongst many other things. So in that vein I decided to share this image. I really don’t think anyone will find it offensive, but if they do, then that makes this one more modern than the rest. 😬

Reindhardt Turkey Tail

I took this at the end of our first of 2 trips to Reinhardt Redwood preserve in Oakland. I was on a mission to see the migrating lady bugs. We hiked the wrong trail on this trip and went straight up hill the whole time. The view from the ridge was amazing. I’m hoping to bring that photo to the masses, as well. We started down the correct path for the ladybugs, but lack of cell service lead us to turn around. It’s not good practice to hike aimlessly with a 6 yr old in the winter – well at least not mine, she gets really vocal. 🤣 we found a small playground and this tree was toppled on the side of the walking path.

Industry Gases

I have been working in the HVAC field for almost a decade now. The gases that are “kosher” change regularly. These are 4 different mixtures of HVAC refrigerant. I really liked that someone set them up like that in a row. I find great satifiaction in a rainbow in nature.
