I love art in all of its forms. I debated what / who I would write about. I have decided to stick to art that is for the most part 2 dimensional, and leave textiles, sculpture, music, movies and writing for another day.
As I am proofreading this, I keep thinking of others that should totally make the list.
My favorite masters are Picaso- Guernica, Monet – Water Lilys, Rembrandt – the life essence you can see behind the skin of his subjects, Annie Leibovitz; I saw a photo of bloody prints on what appeared to be a bathroom stall at an exhibit at the De Young Museum in SF in the late 90’s early 2000’s. I looked for a while and couldn’t find the name of the image. – Frida Kahlo – The Two Fridas, I also love her photography and last but not least Ansel Adams – Dogwood Flowers. There are more, but these round out the ones I think about on the regular.

I am looking forward to Johnny Depp’s new exhibit too. It looks to at least in some instances resemble Ralph Steadman, who should totally make my list too.
